Specific Need

  We desire to continue to grow and thrive as a community theatre group. To be able to grow we need the help of our community.  Our hope is to expand the opportunities for more people of all ages to experience the many aspects of live theatre as we are able.  Each production costs approx. $500 - $800 for costumes, props and sets and $500-800 for scripts and licenses.  We are currently producing two shows a year and looking to begin theatre workshops for children and youth.  We have a need for additional wireless microphones. The cost for these are $1400 for a dual unit.  Your help is priceless!

Profile

   In November 2019 our first production was brought to the stage by local volunteers who have a love for bringing a story to life to others. A story has the power to touch us in many different ways from deep laughter to heart felt tears, from identifying with a character to seeing the view of another in a new way. The journey for those as cast members and behind the scenes volunteers is one of encouragement, teamwork, building confidence and becoming a part of the live theatre family. We have an eye toward the future so that ACT Clay County will continue to grow and thrive for future generations of participants and audiences.
