Specific Need
Development of the Rundle-Brown facility is nearing completion. We have 2 major projects left we hope to complete in the very near future. The most important remaining feature is the construction of the restroom/concession stand/storage facility. This will be a great addition for participants and spectators. We are also hoping to develop more parking along the north side of the property to better serve our users when they visit the facility.
Mission
The Rundle/Brown Athletic Facility is the new home for the Clay Center Parks & Recreation flag football program (fall) and soccer program (spring). It will serve over 500 participates each year between the two programs. It will boast irrigated fescue fields/green space, restroom facilities and a concession stand. The green space will allow for 4-7 fields depending on size and set up. Improved parking will also be available. This facility will give each of our programs an identity and will make it easier for families with multiple players to attend games for each player. We are excited for the completion and use of this facility in the future.
