Goal: $5,000.00
Specific Need
A thriving youth group doesn’t just happen—it takes prayer, dedicated leaders, and financial support. Today’s teens face unique challenges, and the church has a vital role in providing a safe, Christ-centered community where they can belong, grow, and serve. Funds ensure that youth have meals to share, resources to study God’s Word, transportation to service projects and retreats, and opportunities to experience life-changing events beyond our town. By supporting the youth group, you are not simply covering program costs—you are investing in the spiritual formation, leadership development, and future faith of the next generation.

Profile
Clay Center UMC Youth Group
Nestled in the heart of Clay Center, Kansas, the Clay Center United Methodist Church Youth Group is a Christ-centered ministry where students in 6th grade through high school grow in faith, build friendships, and learn the joy of serving others. Rooted in the love of Christ and guided by the values of the United Methodist Church, we are part of the Great Plains Conference’s NextGen Ministries—committed to discipleship, leadership, and justice.
Each week, youth gather for fellowship and faith formation: sharing meals, diving into Bible studies, and joining together in worship. Throughout the year, our teens serve the community through mission trips, visiting nursing home residents, packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, and volunteering with local ministries like Harvesters food distribution and the Blessing Box. They also participate in joyful outings, church events, parades, and the United Methodist Youth Convention held every four years.
