A thriving youth ministry doesn’t just happen—it takes prayer, dedicated leaders, committed families, and financial support.

Over the past year, our Youth Group has continued to grow in remarkable ways. We are serving more students, creating more opportunities for discipleship, participating in mission projects, developing young leaders, and helping students discover what it means to live out their faith in their everyday lives.

Today’s teenagers face unique challenges, and the church has a vital role in providing a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered community where young people can belong, grow, serve, and discover their God-given purpose.

As our ministry grows, so do our needs. Financial support allows us to provide meals and fellowship, Bible study materials, transportation, mission opportunities, leadership development, and experiences that reach beyond our local community.

Most importantly, your support is not simply paying for youth activities—it is investing in the spiritual formation, leadership development, and future faith of the next generation.

Youth 2027! Dallas, Texas.	Travel, registration, lodging, meals, transportation, conference expenses, and scholarships for students and adult leaders attending the United Methodist YOUTH 2027 Conference in Dallas, Texas.	YOUTH 2027 is a wonderful opportunity for our students to worship with thousands of young people, grow in their faith, build relationships, and return home inspired to serve. As our Youth Group continues to grow, the cost of taking a large group to Dallas will be significant. We want every student to have the opportunity to attend, regardless of their family's financial situation.

Profile

Clay Center UMC Youth Group

Nestled in the heart of Clay Center, Kansas, the Clay Center United Methodist Church Youth Group is a Christ-centered ministry where students in 6th grade through high school grow in faith, build friendships, and learn the joy of serving others. Rooted in the love of Christ and guided by the values of the United Methodist Church, we are part of the Great Plains Conference’s NextGen Ministries—committed to discipleship, leadership, and justice.

Each week, youth gather for fellowship and faith formation: sharing meals, diving into Bible studies, and joining together in worship. Throughout the year, our teens serve the community through mission trips, visiting nursing home residents, packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, and volunteering with local ministries like Harvesters food distribution and the Blessing Box. They also participate in joyful outings, church events, parades, and the United Methodist Youth Convention held every four years.
