Grow Clay County’s mission is to provide creative strategies through leadership and resources to sustain and grow our region’s vibrant economy and outstanding quality of life.

Profile

Clay County Growth Alliance (GROW Clay County)  is a Kansas nonprofit 501c3. We are the leading community and economic development organization in Clay County.

We work using a bottom-up approach by helping existing and new businesses, attracting and training the workforce, and ensuring we have the economic infrastructure such as affordable housing, childcare, and quality-of-life amenities.  We are also excited to market our community to draw talent and encourage visitors to EXPLORE Clay County.

What will my donation be used for?

Current Projects:

Downtown Speaker Campaign - Downtown music to increase the ambiance and provide sound for events in downtown Clay Center.

USD 379/Grow Clay County Childcare -  We are partnering with USD 379 to open a childcare area in the Middle School to help increase childcare spots in our county.  We also have some CSP Tax Credits available for purchase (70% of donation). Contact Grow Clay County for an application.  Please consider donating to this important cause.

Talent Attraction Campaign -  We hope to begin a talent attraction campaign to help fill the open jobs in our county by marketing to individuals and families in urban areas encouraging them to embrace our space.

Housing - Grow Clay County is working to increase the housing stock and hopes to apply for grant funding to help with down payment assistance and home building.
