Our mission is to spark interest, inspire involvement, and welcome new faces to our community whether you’re here for a day, a week, or a lifetime. We celebrate everything that makes Wakefield special, shining a light on the people, places, and events that make our town a wonderful place to live, work, and visit.

Wakefield Pride is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to building community involvement and making Wakefield an even better place to live, work, and visit.

We welcome anyone who cares about Wakefield  whether you live within city limits, nearby, or simply have a heart for our community. Together, we partner with the public, City Council, schools, youth, and other civic and governmental groups, both established and new.

Our projects are chosen with the wishes of the community in mind, and we work as a team to bring them to life. We seek out local leadership, tap into community resources, and encourage economic growth to create a better environment for all.

We also honor Wakefield’s rich history and strive to preserve and enhance it for generations to come.
